Fees for NDIS Participants:
The dietitian service fee for NDIS participants is $203.99 per hour. Self-managed participants can be seen. Plan managed participants are screened and accepted depending on certain conditions, please email us if you are plan managed and want to enquire.
Dietetic services are claimed under Improved Health and Wellbeing or Capacity building (improved daily living) in your NDIS plan. These services include session time as well as liaison with supports & report writing. An invoice will be sent for services on Mondays weekly. NDIS participants do not need to provide a deposit for appointments.
Dietitian Initial Assessments for NDIS take up to 2 hours and Dietitian Reviews take up to 1.5 hours. Any liaison with the wider support team, updating HEN registrations, time spent reviewing growth/nutritional intake/nutrient analysis is all billable time.
NDIS Plan information must be provided including NDIS number, dates, funding category, hours, stated or flexible supports, funding amounts and funding periods (eg. 3 monthly). If this information is not provided, we request to sight your NDIS plan as this information is essential to provide the service.
Why is our NDIS rate higher than the NDIS Pricing Document?
The NDIS dietetics rate has been frozen for over six years and has now been reduced further. This ongoing freeze, combined with rising costs, means the value of payments has not kept pace with what it actually costs to run a sustainable, high-quality service. This challenge is being felt across our whole sector and is unfortunately leading to fewer service providers being able to continue supporting families – something we are deeply committed to avoiding.
We know that the NDIS pricing decisions recently will hit families hard and we are continuing to advocate to increase the rate to reduce the significant impacts it will cause. We remain dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and value, and we will ensure that our services meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
